2016 has been a busy year for all members and next year promises to follow the same pattern, a new fund raising project, ISGF World Conference in Bali and our own gathering in Newcastle in May. Details of all these and much more will come to you in a mailing by post in January 2017 – including your membership renewal form with which we hope you will introduce new friends to boost our numbers.
This picture is a ‘Christmas Tree’ created by Margaret McColm and Pam Gardner to publicise SAGF at the Christmas Tree Festival in December at Waddow (Girlguiding UK’s Activity Centre in Lancashire) – hopefully we will get some new members as a result! Thank you all for all that you are doing for Guiding, Scouting and SAGF.
We hope to hear from you in 2017.
New Year greetings,
Chairman and Committee, Scout and Guide Fellowship UK.
The 2017 Annual General Meeting and Gathering will take the form of a City break, 12th – 15th May, in Newcastle upon Tyne.

For the year 2017/18, SAGF UK plan to support the Ghanaian Children’s Trust.
The charity was established in 2004 by Jean Edusei, County chairman of Newcastle Trefoil Guild, and her husband, to relieve poverty and distress among children and young adults who are orphans or destitute in Kumasi, Ghana.
